ACA NSW seeks again urgent & immediate flexibilities without compromising quality

More and more NSW-based early childhood education and care (ECEC) services have already faced the difficult choice of deciding which children and their families will be asked not to come, all due to worsening labour shortages. And this is going to get worse in 2023 and 2024 unless appropriate and sensible solutions are forthcoming.

ACA NSW has again written to the NSW Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning (the Hon Sarah Mitchell MLC) asking for urgent and immediate flexibilities without compromising quality.

This follows previous requests to the NSW Government in 2022 (and before COVID) for urgent and immediate flexibilities due to the worsening labour shortages.

NSW-based ECEC services cannot wait another 47 days before the NSW state election (on 25 March 2023). Services, their educators, teachers, families and most importantly children, need solutions urgently.
