Following the NSW Government's proposal to make over 30 changes to the National Law, ACA NSW has drafted the first 23 questions to ascertain whether children's safety concerns are entirely adequately addressed.
ACA NSW members are invited to share their views and insights about the proposed 30 changes and the initial 23 questions too as the NSW Government seeks to make changes that appear to be unique to the NSW jurisdiction only. Please direct them to ACA NSW via nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.

It remains clear that the NSW Government intends to make further reforms (including the creation of a new and independent NSW Regulatory Authority that is separate to the NSW Department of Education, while still being answerable to the NSW Minister for Education and Early Learning). But details are yet to be publicly available.
ACA NSW members will also receive the latest presentation about and discuss these changes at the upcoming Members-Only Meetings (on 13 October 2025 and 10 November 2025).
For any further information/clarification, members can contact the ACA NSW team via 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.
