The NSW Parliamentary Inquiry into Early Childhood Education and Care in NSW commenced with its first two days of hearings, during which 40 individuals testified on 13-14 August 2025.
Over 150 submissions were received by the NSW Parliamentary Committee, including one from ACA NSW.
This Parliamentary Inquiry follows the NSW Government's decisions, in particular to accept the recommendations of the independent Wheeler Report, including the creation of a new NSW Regulatory Authority that is independent of the NSW Department of Education.
