Introducing Support Hubs beginning 2022

In anticipation of COVID-normal, and while maintaining COVIDsafe protocols, the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW will be introducing 12x face-to-face Support Hubs across Greater Sydney first beginning in 2022.

These new ACA NSW Support Hubs will be conducted alongside ACA NSW's popular Network Meetings. And for 2022, there will be 13 ACA NSW Network Meetings via webinars and 4 regional Network Meetings that are conducted in a face-to-face format. Past Network Meetings via webinar will continue to be available to members via videos-on-demand.

The key difference for the new ACA NSW Support Hubs will be that it will be the local attendees who will lead all queries and discussions of issues. ACA NSW representatives who are themselves Approved Providers will also be present and available to support all those present.

The following proposed dates are for these ACA NSW Support Hubs that will be held across Greater Sydney's northern, eastern, southern and western areas:

  • 22 February 2022
  • 22 March 2022
  • 29 March 2022
  • 26 April 2022
  • 24 May 2022
  • 31 May 2022
  • 21 June 2022
  • 28 June 2022
  • 26 July 2022
  • 30 August 2022
  • 20 September 2022
  • 25 October 2022

From time to time, and only upon request from the local attendees, ACA NSW can invite the corresponding NSW Department of Education's Hub Coordinators to attend the relevant ACA NSW Support Hubs. The NSW Department of Education's Hub Coordinators are responsible for all their Authorised Officers for the local areas.

Such interactions should help build stronger and positive working relationships between services and the Department, while also enabling either or both to resolve issues and address problems.

Should you require any further information/clarification, members can contact the ACA NSW office on 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.
