ACA NSW urgently needs your help to allow it to continue advocating for you and your long daycare service considering the cessation of the Start Strong (Program) funding money beginning 2027 – notification which you would have received in August 2026 from the NSW Department of Education.
As early as June 2026, ACA NSW began to raise concerns with the NSW Government on this issue and we urgently need your help on this matter to continue our advocacies. NOTE: This change will remove your Progam money but not negatively affect your Fee Relief funding (ie funding to assist parents to pay the gap fee).
ACA NSW needs your input on how the cessation of NSW’s Start Strong (program) funding will impact your service via the survey below or via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NoStartStrongProgFunding27. Your feedback can be extremely persuasive in ensuring the NSW Government revokes its intention to remove the Start Strong (program) funding.
The survey will close 12 noon on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, with results to be published by Friday, 30 October 2026. You can complete the survey below or via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NoStartStrongProgFunding27. No personal nor identifiable information will be collected.
