Update on Anti-Semitic attack on ECEC service in Sydney's south-east

ACA NSW members will recall the early childhood education and care service that was on fire and graffitied with anti-Semitism in January 2025. On the morning after, ACA NSW CEO did visit the site and extended any assistance that we could offer that service.

The NSW Premier (the Hon Chris Minns MP) has written to ACA NSW acknowledging our concerns, updating us on the NSW Government's responses, but most importantly highlighting what new assistance affected early childhood education and care services may consider in light of such attacks.

Early childhood education and care services have always prided ourselves with being inclusive and diverse. Furthermore, that such values are shared with the children we educate and care for.

ACA NSW will continue to engage affected and potentially affected members and services to assist them wherever possible, especially to ensure that our sector and children are safe and protected.

For any further information/clarification, please contact the ACA NSW team via 1300 556 330 or nsw@childcarealliance.org.au.
