A NSW Parliamentary Committee is examining the NSW Government's proposed amendments to workers compensation in NSW.
Called to testify alongside ACA NSW were the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia Association, the Australian Hotels Association, Clubs NSW and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia.
ACA NSW President Lyn Connolly raised concerns over significant premium increases and the difficulties of proving false claims, especially as many early childhood education and care services faced capped fees.

It is also ACA NSW's understanding that NSW's workers compensation scheme:
is already $3.6b in the red;
is losing $5m per calendar day; and
is experiencing a 65% surge in psychological claims.
Thus raising the obvious question: Is it financially capable of supporting all injured workers?
Public Hearing from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm at NSW Parliament House (29 July 2025)
The NSW Government and the NSW Parliament are seeking to balance the continuation of workers compensation for those with proven injuries, while ensuring employers are not unfairly impacted.
