Engaging through Are You The G.O.A.T. Educators!

The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW will host 2 Are You The G.O.A.T. Educators! (AYTGE) across Sydney beginning 2026 to:


  • introduce social scaffolding to communities of services;

  • support services with their recruitment, retention and team development of early childhood educators and teachers;

  • provide Supplier Members to support the sector and engage services.

Based on the Have You Been Paying Attention? quiz show, the AYTGEs will have 3 qualifying rounds and one (1) grand final.


At each round, services will put forward a team of 3 individuals to compete against 2-3 other teams. Each service's team must be composed with:


  • one early childhood educator; 

  • one Educational Leader; and

  • someone with regulatory decision-making responsibilities (eg Approved Provider, Nominated Supervisor or a Responsible Person).

The qualifying rounds will be held on Friday evenings after work with light dinner and drinks provided. And the grand final will be held on a Saturday afternoon. The winning team of each qualifying round will compete at the grand final.


Please note that at the qualifying rounds, only one team per Approved Provider will be accepted. And for the grand final, only the top 3-4 teams on points will compete.


Members of the winning team at the qualifying rounds will each receive a medallion. And the winning team at the grand final will host the perpetual trophy inscribed with the team's name and must be returned in anticipation of the next year's winning team.


Through sponsorships, ACA NSW Supplier Members can exhibit and be active participants at these Are You The G.O.A.T. Educators! event. PLEASE consult the AYTGE webpage to view the dates/times and further information for those events. Participating Supplier Members:


  • must confirm their sponsorships by 31 May 2026;

  • must provide their 1-minute video and supporting digital assets by 31 May 2026 for use in the marketing and promotion of the AYTGE 2026.

  • For logistical and spatial reasons, up to 9 sponsors will be allowed for each AYTGE qualifying round and grand final.

  • Participating Supplier Members will have an assigned 2m x 1m space around the perimeter of the event.

  • Participating Supplier Members will be invited to be embedded into the AYTGE questions/challenges for the qualifying rounds and grand final.

  • It is highly recommended that each participating Supplier Member provide a "lucky draw" prize that will be drawn at various stages throughout the grand final afternoon.

  • Participating Supplier Members will receive the list of attendees before as well as after each qualifying round and grand final for additional opportunities to engage them.

  • All marketing collaterals must be delivered to the ACA NSW office at least one week prior to each qualifying round and grand final so that they can be included in the official bags for the attendees.

  • Acknowledgement of sponsoring Supplier Members will also be in all EDMs.
