Preparing for the Approved Providers' Approval Process & Test 2024

ACA NSW Quickies (training) are less than 2 hours long and held throughout the year via live webinars, in-person and video-on-demand formats.

Quickies are primarily for Approved Providers, owners/directors and Nominated Supervisors with sector-specific information, advice, tips and even “tricks”.

The topics to be covered in the ACA NSW Quickies – Preparing for the Approved Providers’ Approval Process & Test 2024 are:

  • Who are required to sit the NSW Government's (knowledge assessment) test?
  • If already an Approved Provider, why and when do I still need to do the test?
  • What is the timeframe from application to approval?
  • What is involved in the application process?
  • What to expect from the NSW Department of Education during this process?
  • What to do if I fail the test?

In New South Wales, as part of the Application Process for Providers and Services, new applicants as well as some existing Approved Providers will need to sit a compulsory examination (ie assessment) for all the individual(s) who is/are in management and control of the service.

This ACA NSW Quickies session will help new and existing childcare providers to better understand the service approvals process.

We will provide invaluable tips on what is involved, how to fill in the application, invaluable tips on what to expect and how to pass the scenario-based assessment.
