What is April Fools Day?

April Fools Day is a fun day where people around the world, particularly in the United Sates, have fun and play practical jokes. On this day, it is tradition to play harmless tricks on people and to shout out "April Fools" when the other person is confused or realizes that they are being tricked.  


When is April Fools Day?

Monday, 1 April


Activities:

  • Freeze some toys in a bowl of water overnight and trick someone
  • Add some food colouring to the milk to trick someone when they're having cereal
  • add some edible googly eyes to pieces of fruit and veggies
  • overnight switcharro - turn the chairs upside down, move furniture the opposite direction 
  • Serve the children plastic play food for meal time and see how they react
