What is International Women's Day?

The theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress. This theme examines the pathways for economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere. Unfortunately women continue to face obstacles in achieving equal participation in the economy. Without equal access to education, employment, financial services etc. there is uncertaincy in achieving gender equality. Women and girls should be given equal opportunity to build their capabilities and strengthen their ability to learn, earn and loea
