National Reconciliation Week

What is National Reconciliation Week?

National Reconciliation Week is a special time in Australia when people come together to learn about and celebrate the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. It's observed from May 27th to June 3rd each year. During this week, events are held across the country to promote understanding, respect, and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. It's a time to reflect on the past, acknowledge injustices, and work towards building a better future where all Australians are treated equally and with dignity.
